Static Electricity

Zapped! Electricity was a kind of energy we needed for our daily life. Electricity was made by power plants using 4 ways: coal, solar energy, water force & wind force. Normally, we can't see it . But, on some conditions it would be visible.
Electricity was so important that it had many uses like: household, buildings, chores, electrical appliances. It was also use in industrial business: factories, goods, machines and more. Once in my life, I was being zapped by lightning when holding a metal wire at the Buu Long field trip. Luckily, the zapped wasn't equal to high voltage levels and I felt the source of electricity flows to my body. It is good to have a low leveled zap because it does one additional jobs... SPEED UP OUR BODY!!! When we work normally, the body is x1 speed. But, when the electricity is in our body, it makes you x2 than you normally does. Make good choice on either keep it or not. The electricity only helps you in a while then it may wear off.
But, if the zap was equal to high High, HIGH VOLTAGE; then you will be paralyzed for 7 or 8 months and that you will be more unhealthy than yesterday. Which means, you have to lay in bed for the whole months and cannot move, cannot do anything, just lay there and do nothing. Electricity is also a cool thing. You rub your socks into the carpet, choose someone & then zapped them. That is called static electricity. The effect is that person was being shocked and they're hair stands. The thing you know is ... Zapped!

Making a cake with my sister

Making a cake with my sister makes me feel happy and fun. It's remained me that when I was a little girl, mom usually brought for me a cookies and cakes. My sister and I usually made a cake for my grandparent. We could make a cake any time we wanted. When we did it wrong we always tried it the next time and it is always better. We usually make pizza, apple cake ,... Mostly I played with the powder, because I can do lot of different things like animals, human, things by the powder and it is really fun. When we finish it, we put it in the oven to bake it. I usually sat next to the oven and enjoy the aroma and it's smell really good. When the sound "TING" came that mean the cake is ready to eat. I took it out slowly so it wouldn't fell down. Then I cut some of it for my grandparent and then I ate it with my family. It's really delicious. making a cake with my sister made me feel SO GREAT and AWESOME!

Looking Down From the 23rd Floor

Looking down from the 23rd floor makes me remember when I was I kid; I went to my aunt’s apartment on the 23rd floor. I went to the window and looked down. I felt like my legs were off the ground. From that height I could see cars, people, houses, really small and tall buildings. I was really scared, but I tried not to look down. I closed my eyes and felt the wind blowing on my face. A Sudden Goal

        A sudden goal that could win the whole game is just like what happened to Spain in the World Cup. When I was in fifth grade, we played soccer on the playground almost everyday. Then one day, when Harry’s team and my team were tied 2-2, David (the goalkeeper) kicked the ball up into the sky, the ball was flying through the air. At the same time, I was running to the penalty box for the other team. Then it suddenly fell down on my head and bounced into the other team’s net. When it was finally over, our team won 3-2. It was just like Spain always won against the other team by 1-0. When our team won with a sudden goal, like Spain, it was so cool. It has always been my dream to be a soccer player.

Drinking Coke With Ice

Drinking coke with ice reminds me when I was young. I used to drink coke in the afternoon to restore my energy. Coke with ice makes it better than other juice or pop because only coke has cola flavor. It has a sweet flavor that always stays on my tongue. Ice always makes me feel freezing and with coke it makes me feel like I’m in Alaska. Coke with ice is the best.

Smoke Stream from a Jet Airplane

The smoke stream from a jet airplane is a straight line of perfect white cloud following the wings. If an airplane is flying through thin cloud, smoke streams are created. My first day at Middle School

August 16,2010 was my special day, because it was my first day at AIS Middle School. The night before, I was so exciting that I couldn't sleep until early next morning. I'm a Six Grader now! I feel as if I'm more mature than before. Meeting all my friends afeter a long summer vacation, I feel so happy and have a lot of things to talk together. There're a lot of new rules that make me a little confuse but I'm sure that I'll adapt well, soon. All the teachers are genius, helpful, and awesome. I love going to AIS Middle School. Hoping each day at AIS Middle School will be full of joy, excitement and success in my student's life!

Picking A Lock

Picking a lock is interesting because I think I was a thief. One day, I try to use a paper clip as a key to picking a lock, but in didn’t work. When my mom saw what I’m doing, she was yell at me:” If you broke this door, I will make you pay”. I was trying again, but this time my mom wasn’t there. I was nearly get it by using another key with a different door, still didn’t work. I try to pick a lock every day, but still is won’t working so I just give up. Hitting My Pillows

I usually hit pillows to get rid of stress. I usually have at least 1 stress a day but pillows are really a good thing to destroy stress. After I hit my pillows, I feel really calm and happy because my stress is all gone! If you hit a pillow, you won’t get hurt because the pillows are not hard. My pillow is really old. I’ve had it since I was 5 years old. It’s really small and fluffy. If I hit another pillow, I won’t be able to get rid of the same amount of stress when I hit my old pillow. My pillow is kind of ripped a bit but it is okay as long as I can get rid of my stress. I will never throw my pillow away. It’s kind of like my best friend. It helps me sleep well, I play with it and lastly, it helps me to get rid of my stress. It is the pest pillow I’ve ever had. It looks like the pillow is alive and being a friend at home. Fruity Pencils

I like to smell pencils but not normal pencils. It’s fruit pencils I like. There are many types of fruit pencils: black cherry, strawberry, watermelon, orange, pineapple and more…The smell is on the pencil, when you write with it you can smell fruit. There is a little picture on each pencil to show you what kind of fruit is it. My favorite pencil flavor is strawberry because it’s smells sweet. I think this is awesome because normally, pencils don’t have a smell. They are just regular pencils but they smell of different kind of fruit. I think fruit pencils are AWESOME!

Falling into the Snow with Ski Pants

I like falling into the snow with ski pants because it is weird and fun. When I was nine, I thought ski pants were a little bit ticklish when you walk. Then, when I fell into the snow, my butt and leg was kind of chilly and ticklish that made me giggled so hard.

Last winter break, my family and I went to Mammoth for a family reunion, we went skiing and I was excited. I headed off to a short mountain so I can ski easily. I fell a lot into the snow. My butt and legs were all wet. The snow weren’t that soft to catch me. I jumped up and down like a crazy monkey because my butt was so cold.

Sometimes, when I’m angry, I sat on the snow and caught some little snowflakes. Sometimes if it gets so cold, we could sit there and drink some hot chocolate and do the snow angel thing. I know that might sounds weird but that is my plan if I see snow.

Eating hot hazelnuts on a cold day is a wonderful thing. Walking outside on a cold day holding a bag of hazelnuts that has just been cooked and talking with my family makes me feels so warm and blissful. The delicious taste and the fabulous smell of hazelnuts make me crave them all the time. The first time I ate hot hazelnuts was in Ha Noi, and now I eat hazelnuts every time I visit Ha Noi. Sometimes when I really want to eat them but I’m in Ho Chi Minh City, my mom buys hazelnuts and cooks them for me. Eating hot hazelnuts and feeling the breeze in the air is really…

Look Alikes

When me and my friend walk into the room, everyone thinks we look the same, isn’t that cool? Have you ever had a friend that was the same height, hair, and even acts like you? It’s just weird, and you both turn around, and someone taps your friend on the shoulder, and says your name? One minute, three of you are shocked, and the next, you’re laughing your guts off? Well, yeah! What else would you do? Just plain hilarious and you’re not even twins! You have the same qualities, and make a good team! You think to yourself, is she/he another version if me sent from the heavens? Maybe. You probably know what they’re about to say. Is it luck? No. I’d say it’s destiny. Another you? Maybe. But to me, it’s just like having a sister who understands you most.

Dim Sum, a Tasty Food

Eating dim sum helps me concentrate better at school. The first dim sum that I ate was a pork dim sum. When I was an elementary student, I always ate three dim sum with a cup of milk. My family is Chinese, so I usually eat dim sum as my breakfast, lunch or dinner. When I eat dim sum, I feel it is very yummy. Every time I finish my dim sum, I always ask for some more. And, I think dim sum is better than any food. Whenever I go to Hong Kong or Guangzhou, the first food on the menu that I choose is dim sum. I think that eating dim sum makes me concentrate better because when I eat my favorite food, it naturally makes me more excited, therefore I study better. For me, dim sum is the best food in the world.

Having Electricity In Your Body

Many people try not to touch electricity because it gives them a shock but there are many kind of shocks. One might make you die and another might make you bleed. But I have touched electricity that doesn’t make me bleed or die. I used my thumb to touch that electricity and at the end of my thumb it hurt a little but from my thumb to my shoulder I felt a little tickle inside my skin. The electricity that I touched was from a mosquito racket. Having electricity tickle your arm: AWESOME

Looking Underwater

Looking under clear water is like a miracle, you’ll see all kinds of beautiful fish. The Underwater World is enthusiastic. The different shapes and colors of the fish make me feel so happy. The seaweed feels like it is waving at us, making me very relaxed. The water is very clear blue. The sea is a stunning place. The elegant fish and the mixture of rocks and seaweed make it interesting.

Eating Muffins Right Out of the Oven

Eating muffins right out of the oven reminds me of being a child. When I was younger my grandmother would bake fresh muffins when I visited her. I would come down stairs in my pajamas and be treated to a hot, delicious breakfast. The cake-y goodness of blueberry or chocolate chip muffins would melt in my mouth and give me energy to play all day.
